I got my camera back today. I ran into the lady who's house I thought it was at - the lady who hadn't returned my calls - while I was at Walmart today. They had been out of town for a month. (Nice life, hmnn?) My camera was on her kitchen counter. Yippee!! So, I will have to take some pictures of Allyssa and Colby tomorrow.
So, I have the camera. And Colby and Allyssa are doing AWESOME at their second session of swim lessons. But you know, it's just not the same around here with only two kids. I guess I have never really realized how much life, pizazz, buzz, energy, excitement, laughter, and love my house contains with four children running through it. I love having all my kids here. Having just Colby and Allyssa has been so calm and quite. And, you'd think we would be enjoying it. But, really...we miss our boys!!!
This is a picture of Daz at his end of season bash for baseball. Yes, the party where I lost my camera. Gosh, we miss him!!! From his Brother Bear smooches to his monkey toes! Every night Colby asks, "is Daz coming home tomorrow Mom?"
Allyssa has been inviting her friends over lately to practice a magic act. They get all dressed in black and practice disappearing. (Which really...for me, is more of a comedy act than magic. It cracks me up what they do. But shhh...don't tell her that. She takes it very seriously!) They are making up invitations and tickets for the neighborhood and are going to put on a show. Should be pretty fun.
Colby, he has been his same old self. Getting himself into trouble. Giving me more material to tell some stories. I actually have a good one to share. I'll wait for tomorrow so I have a picture to acomany it. Oh, and he's swimming like crazy. He's in level three, with a bunch of 7 and 8-year-olds. And is doing so very, very good!!! Speaking of swimming, I thought this shot of Killian doing the "Dead Man's Dive" was pretty hilarious. Doesn't that look like it's going to hurt?? We really miss having him here. We loved that he got to be here for so long this summer, and only wish it could have been even longer! (So does one of the little neighbor girls - he - he - he, she has a huge crush and I just think that's funny!) He's so darn cute, I get it! But, somebody tell me please, when did he grow up? He's almost as tall as me! Has shoes that I can almost fit into. Has a sense of humor that is beyond his years. And, I really really miss him too! We all do!
So, really, the boys...Daz and Killian... are not missing! They are having more summer fun because it's their time to be at Dads, or at Moms. And we understand. And are glad they are enjoying themselves. But, they really are being missed!!!
P.S. (Aunt Angie, give Daz lots of smooches from us, k???)
