So you may have heard that a typhoon is heading our way here in Japan. We ARE getting alot of wind and rain from the typhoon that was headed our way. It was originally supposed to hit us directly, but it looks like it's taking a turn and it won't be so bad for us here on Okinawa. The best website I've found to track it (if you're interested) is this one. The picture above? NOT at all what it looks like here. It's just a nice picture of a pretty sunset back home; something we probably won't get here for a few days.
Also, I just wanted to let you know that I've added a couple of clocks on the right sidebar. That is for all of you who are in the states. The clocks tell what time it is here on Okinawa. The top clock tells the time and the day of the week. The bottom one tells the time and time of day (a.m. or p.m.) and if you move your mouse over it, it changes to the date. So...I just thought that it'd be helpful for some of you who are either too afraid to call, thinking it's the middle of the night OR don't think of it and are calling us in the middle of the night. No worries, we still love ya, either which way.
Another note, we do have our vonage phone. Which is a Washington state number, and will only cost you what it'd typically cost you to call a land line in Washington. If you want that number, and don't have it, send me an email or leave a comment here and I'll get it to ya.
Ok, now off to take my dog out in the wind for his "nightly rounds". He's kind of weirded out by it! I'll keep you all posted on the typhoon outcome. Good night!
